Responsibilities
Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Technical Analyst, to be part of the Technical Support Group. You will collect and process in-service reliability data. Track, report and provide recommendations to the fleet director of engineering on component reliability and failure rates. Review unplanned maintenance for failure modes
•Analyze maintenance data to predict equipment availability and reliability, to formulate
maintenance strategy.
•Analyze inventory data to predict spare part consumption and replenishment strategy.
•Track Environmental equipment events and trends. 
•Maintenance data collection, trending and reporting.
•Support the development and implementation of new reliability tools and strategies to drive process efficiency and reliability improvement. 
•Knowledge of predictive and condition-monitoring maintenance techniques (RCM) and their applications. 
•Track compliance project progress and convey information to internal and external
stakeholders. 
•Have a good working knowledge of the Amos Planned Maintenance System and how it relates to maintenance policy.
•Have a good working knowledge of the HESS-MS on how it relates to maintenance policy and environmental compliance. 
•Familiar with SQL statements and their use. 
•Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Teams and Power BI, be able to prepare relevant data and produce related presentations.

Requirements
•Bachelor Degree in Reliability Engineering
•Five (5) years experience in a maintenance and reliability environment, preferably in the power generation or marine industry.
•Strong technical Knowledge of equipment systems both electrical and mechanical.
•Knowledge of predictive and condition-monitoring maintenance techniques (RCM) and their applications. 
•Exercising good judgment by making sound and well informed decisions.
•Must be capable of multi-tasking and work under pressure to maintain agreed project deadlines and resource allocation. 
•Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with external agencies, shipboard and shore side management & employees. 
•Must be a self-starter capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a larger team with regular reporting and feedback communication. 
•Must be proficient in the use of computer business applications; internet technology; project planning; and management tools. 
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
